Today is the babies 12 week birthday! Yay! Looking back at the previous post from almost a month ago it is amazing to see how much the babies have grown! This past weekend we made our first trip to Lewisville which is about 3 - 3 1/2 hours from Austin. The babies pretty much slept the whole way! Our trick was to feed them right before we left. However towards the end of the trip every time we stopped one of the babies started crying...but once we started going again they were fine. We also had Mercy (our dog) with us. She got to sit up front while I sat in the back w/ pacifiers ready. The trip went well and they got to see their grandparents "Grandmommy" and "Opa"
The triplets have begun a new thing I call grumpy hour...and well grumpy hour doesn't last one hour...it last 3. This happens between our two last feedings before bed. The babies scream and cry and NOTHING makes them happy. It's pretty much the hardest part of the day just because you have babies screaming and there is nothing you can do.
They have also started smiling and laughing (w/o sound) on purpose. It is soo cute! I love to try and make them smile but it seems like when I try they won't cooperate.
Ashtons episodes have gotten a lot better...he rarely has them now which is great!!
They are also eating about 4 1/2 oz. 7-8 times a day. We are still getting up at night which stinks but there are some wonderful nights where they only wake us up once...like last night! They went to bed around 10 woke up at 2:30 and then again at 7. Praying for another night like that!
We have taken the triplets on a few outings...multiple walks, out to eat, shopping at Khols. They did wonderful everytime!
